I’m not a huge fan of Bench clothes but the store's lines of cosmetics, lingerie, and body essentials never fail to garner my “oohs” and “aahs”. You can absolutely shop a lot minus the guilt afterwards.
A few days ago, as I was accompanying my brother get his dose of Bench what not, I chanced upon these simple yet captivating tubes.
These moisturizing lotions are part of the Color Me Pink Fragrances collection. Why such name instead of “Color Me Yellow” or “Color Me Periwinkle”? Pantone Color Institute executive director Leatrice Eiseman said, “In times of stress, we need something to lift our spirits. Honeysuckle pink is a captivating, stimulating color that gets the adrenaline going — perfect to ward off the blues!”
Bare Me Not gives off a sensual scent because of its floral and fruity notes whereas Tickled Pink exudes a lovely delicate scent because of its floral and woody notes.
What I’m Fond of:
~The packaging is very cute and has the same “thinness” as Soap and Glory’s body essentials. The imprinted haiku on each tube also brings waves of nostalgia.
~The fragrance seems to be overpowering straight from the bottle but once lathered on the skin, you’ll get a sweet and subtle scent. Lasting power: BMN-5+hours TP–3+hours (Please take note that I used them tonight for church. I only stayed in an air-conditioned structure and in our car so I couldn’t tell if the products could withstand heat).
~As for BMN and TP’s consistency, it’s very smooth and slippery, that’s why your skin won’t feel weighed and your pores won’t feel clogged upon application.
What I’m Not Sure of:
~The products’ moisturizing properties are not really meant for dry-skinned people like me. I think it’s merely an afterbath lotion enough to keep the skin temporarily supple.
~Again, because of the consistency, the lotion can spill continuously if left unopened. Maybe, it’s just the careless me.
These lotions are priced rock-bottom and you can also use them as staple gifts for get-together loot bags.ッ
